Thanks to our clever lab folk doing extensive research before we launched Bug Off, we have always known that BZK is effective killing nasty bugs like Coronavirus and we have been so pleased to hear all your feedback saying how moisturising it is on dry and delicate skin.
We just wanted to share with you this fantastic piece of research that has been picked up by the Daily Mail backing up our findings that non-alcohol based hand sanitisers are just as effective as alcohol-based and have several other benefits. If you would like to read the full article click here, but for those of you who don't have time to get through all that scientific jargon (we don't blame you):
- Results indicated that alcohol-free hand sanitisers work just as well as alcohol-based ones.
- Within 15 seconds, BZK had killed the coronavirus sample.
- BZK is non-toxic, less irritating to skin and non-flammable.
We chose to use BZK instead of an alcohol-based sanitiser as we felt instinctively strange about asking our children to pour effectively neat vodka on our children's hands. We then ran a survey with YouGov and over 2/3 of parents surveyed had high levels of concerns about their child using alcohol-based sanitisers. You can read the full results of the survey here.
We passionately believe that BZK is a fantastic alternative to alcohol-based sanitisers that is not only highly effective against coronavirus and other nasty bugs, but is also a kinder and gentler product suitable for children and we hope you agree.
